Conscious Container Awarded Landmark CalRecycle GHG Reuse Grant Program

On April 15th, 2021 CONSCIOUS CONTAINER was honored to be awarded a landmark $500,000 Green House Gas (GHG) Reuse Grant by the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). This "Reuse" Grant is the first of its kind within the California GHG Grant program, further validating the desire, investment and commitment to true waste reduction systems across the State of California.

On April 28, 2021 California AB-962 passed the Natural Resources Committee hearing with full bipartisan support vote of 11-0. To top it off, at the end of the bill's hearing, Assemblyman Jim Woods, covering Sonoma County, shared the knowledge of our Conscious Container pilot in his county and right then requested to join Senator Kamlager to be a co-author of the bill.
