Conscious Container is selected to join Anheuser Busch InBev's 100+ Sustainability Accelerator to scale this refillable glass bottle system.

In February, seventeen start-ups selected by Anheuser Busch InBev's (AB InBev) 100+ Sustainability Accelerator gathered in New York City to kick-off the 2020 100+ Sustainability Accelerator cohort program. Conscious Container was joined by start-ups from 13 different countries selected from over 1200+ global applications, double the amount of applications compared to the 2019 inaugural cohort.

The 100+ Sustainability Accelerator is driven by AB InBev's Sustainability commitments. Under their 'Circular Packaging' category the commitment is "Our Goal: By 2025, 100% of our product will be in packaging that is returnable or made from majority recycled content". Conscious Container's US based refillable glass bottle solution is well positioned to assist in meeting this goal.

Over the next six months Conscious Container and AB InBev will collaborate on MVP pilot project distributing, collecting, washing, and refilling an AB InBev branded bottle. Launching in California, Conscious Container will leverage existing partnerships and previous pilot experiences for this AB InBev pilot.

We are honored to be selected to join with one the world's leading companies who are putting sustainability out front. A quote from Tony Miliken, Chief Sustainability Officer - AB InBev:

"We can’t accomplish our sustainability goals alone. As a global brewer, we are excited to collaborate with governments, NGO partners, universities and innovators to tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges."

Here we go....
